Landscape Architect/Designer (3-8 Years)

We are currently searching for a passionate, self-motivated, and well-rounded candidate with the right combination of personal, professional, technical, and communication skills to join our team. Your dedication is important to us, and will be rewarded with growth opportunities, participation in great projects and attractive benefits. You will collaborate with our experienced staff across the full design process from sketch to construction in the creation of vibrant parks, plazas, streetscapes, and more. You will also engage with the public regularly through community workshops, online platforms, and other events. The ideal candidate will be committed to the practice of landscape architecture but willing to explore the edges of the profession and able to wear multiple professional hats.

Skills Required:

We seek candidates with strong design and communication skills, an ability to work in collaborative team settings, and familiarity with our Intermountain region. Candidates must demonstrate a solid understanding of landscape architecture - from planning and conceptual design through construction document preparation, with demonstrable technical skills in the following:

Required Skills

  • Three or more years professional experience in landscape architecture and design

  • A professional degree in Landscape Architecture from an accredited institution

  • Strong graphic aesthetic

  • Strong experience with AutoCAD and construction documentation, including planting and irrigation design (LandFX)

  • Proficiency in producing renderings, 3D models, and other graphic production using Illustrator,Photoshop, InDesign, and Sketchup

  • Experience with public presentations and community workshops

  • Excellent research, writing and organizational skills

Desired Additional Qualifications

  • Landscape architecture license and other certifications are a plus but not required

  • Interest and/or experience in urban planning and design

  • Experience interpreting data and creating maps in ArcGIS
